Dr. Carol Blake, a Massachusetts native, established the Blake Dental Group in 2011, after more than 20 years of providing care to patients in the Washington, DC area. She grew up outside of Worcester, and was drawn to dentistry because she wanted to be in a healing profession and work with her hands. Dr. Blake earned a bachelor of science in zoology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst; and, in 1988, graduated magna cum laude with a doctorate in dental surgery from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. She then went on to complete a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Following her residency, Dr. Blake returned to Washington to begin clinical work. In 2000, she joined Dr. John Beschenbossel’s practice in Friendship Heights; and then, eleven years later, bought the practice and made it her own.
